You can use things like that when you need to write a monkey patch or extend some feature. But, if you want to see a real example you can take a look in rails code and you will see a lot of things like that.
In the next post I will explore a little more of that sort of thing.

Great post, but I think the code like the 2nd is really ugly (end end end…). I already saw one (official) discusion about it and many ideas like ennnd or en3d.
Going to the main discusion: this is a different feature and can show the power of ruby, but I still can’t figure out how it is used in a project. Can you give a real exemple of it ?
I only can imagine it when you are using the interactive ruby to do some tests. Maybe it can break a project when it is growing up.

Cara como eu faço trazer uma list com os dados de duas classes usando criteria??
Uso o sequinte metodo para buscar dados porem so consigo buscar de uma classe.

You could use sweepers to expire the cache
